190 SL Roadster  1960  82,000 miles, finished in silver with cream leather piped blue, navy carpets, navy hood.

This stunning vehicle has recently been the subject of a meticulous restoration, the details of which are featured in the July 2011 issue of Mercedes Enthusiast Magazine, it was also pictured on the front cover. Amazing attention to detail was taken during the resoration, the car was repainted in its original colour of brilliant silver. All chromework was re-plated where necessary, highly detailed throughout including under bonnet which is highly polished, the panel fit, which is so important on these cars is excellent.

The engine and mechanicals were overhauled by 190 SL specialist Brian Gunney approximately 10 years ago and the car runs and drives just as you would expect. The previous owner who commissioned the restoration of this vehicle used it for continental journeys on which the car proved to be totally reliable.

Having had only 3 recorded owners during it's 51 year lifetime it has an extensive history file which includes restoration photographs, copious bills, original beige log book, original German brochure, original Mercedes Benz maintenance book in German with English translation, plus details of previous restoration work.

Inside the car it has an original ivory steering wheel and has never had a stereo fitted thus has the original blanking plate with 190SL script, Alll of the dashboard instrument gauges have been removed and reconditioned so function as they should. A superb example of one of the prettiest Mercedes Benz cars of all time that would truely be a joy to own.
